Despite its slightly boxy looks, the Ford Fiesta LX is a gutsy little vehicle with much to offer someone in the market for a good performing and cheap running small car. The Ford Fiesta has many strong points compared to other small vehicles in its class, including a structurally safe body, generous interior space and comfort, torquey 1.6-litre engine and reasonable running costs. In terms of shortcomings, the Ford Fiesta is not the quietest of vehicles and lacks some important equipment such as standard ABS on the manual model. If you still like the look of the Fiesta, the new shape is rated quite highly by a lot of people even though it is a bit boxy, it is not too small and it has some excellent independent reviews. It has a smooth ride and a comfortable interior and can be quite a good value purchase.
